Bite Sip Stroll takes food enthusiasts to four iconic Fortitude Valley gems, including two venues from 2017 QLD Chef of the Year Ben Williamson: Gerard’s Bar and Gerard’s Bistro. Add Nickel Kitchen and The APO to the mix and you’ve got an unmatched opportunity to indulge in QLD’s best.
2017 Chef of the Year
In 2017 Executive Chef Ben Williamson was awarded Chef of the Year in the QLD Good Food Guide and the bistro picked up its second chef’s hat. Middle Eastern thread weaves through Gerard’s menu, African and European influences add exciting punctuations. The results are captivating!
House-made charcuterie and tapas
Gerard’s Bistro’s little sister is tucked away behind the hustle and bustle of James Street. The Spanish inspired menu, designed by Executive Chef Ben Williamson, features tapas and house-made charcuterie. The recipe is simple: great food, delicious drinks, and excellent service.
